A procedure for existing TCS Explorer dial-in users
Every TCS Explorer subscriber should take part in this upgrade
as soon as possible. Not only for the tasty speed boost, but also
the 33.6K lines will be going away.
UPDATE: The transition period has ended.
As explained in our earlier announcements on stage
and screen (and by e-mail, and on the Web, and in the Journal, and...)
you must now use the 56K lines to access TCS Explorer.
(Or, restated as a "glass half full" sorta thing,
you may now take advantage of the greatly improved, regionwide 56K service!

PPP Account Name
This is the trickiest part, if that's any encouragement.
Set your PPP account name to your complete wap.org e-mail
address, including "@wap.org". For example:
jane.member@wap.org
Your password remains the same as before. You can still change it
using the Preferences
link within the TCS.
Important: our servers have historically been lenient about
mistyped account names. The new 56K service cannot be equally forgiving.
Incorrect variations would now result in higher operating costs.
A correctly entered account name is all lowercase.
It contains no spaces, and it appears different from one's
name in real life.

DNS Server Addresses
For fastest results under Mac OS X, leave the "DNS Servers"
field blank. PPP will negotiate an entry appropriate to the location dialed.
This advice may not be feasible under Mac OS 8 or so.
If you find that you connect successfully but then cannot locate
web sites by name, specify the following DNS servers (in order).
216.194.192.70
216.194.225.70
216.194.192.8
In all cases, leave the "Search Domains" or "Domain" field blank
for general use on the Internet.
