After you get your new Apple Silicon-powered Mac, what do you do with that Intel-powered Mac you've been clinging to since 2006? What happens when you reccycle your old computer?
At 10:30 am, Dave Ottalini from Mac Recycle Clinic (https://www.macrecycleclinic.org/site/) will talk about their refurbishment operation and also recycling equipment they can't put back into use. Dave is a long-time Pi member, and Mac Recycle Clinic is, itself, a spinoff from Washington Apple Pi's recycling efforts dating back to the 1970s.
Jim McGovern, our main speaker from eAsset Solutions, will provide an overview of the eCycle rocess, and take you behind the scenes to show what actually takes place, including data destruction, reuse, and recycling.
