January 2025 General Meeting: We, Too, Are Made of Water

Jasmine Singh is a recent Purdue graduate and science communicator, having received her Bachelors degree in planetary science with a double major in atmospheric science. She is a graduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio in the UTSA/SwRI Space Physics graduate program, where her research involves investigating Europa's habitability. She is pursuing a career in planetary science, with the hopes of becoming an astrobiologist at NASA. She has also been very open about her journey as a Brown woman in planetary science, advocating for women of color in STEM and becoming a mentor for young Indian women who share the same passions. She believes that no one should be held back from pursuing their passions and that science is for everyone.

The Zoom meeting invitation will be posted on the Pi's conferencing system, the TCS, and sent out to members via Email. Please check your Zoom profile online to be sure it contains your full name, because for security reasons, we can't let anyone in without their full name.

Important! if you use the Zoom app (instead of a web browser), check in advance that you have version 6.2 or better. Zoom made a massive update recently that moved everything around and even renamed the software application.
