Mac OS X Installation Party
March 24, 2001, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
In conjunction with the General Meeting on March 24,
2001, Washington Apple Pi will hold a special clinic on
installing Mac OS X (which Apple thoughtfully decided to
release on the same day).
In order to take advantage of this offer, you must:
- buy a copy of Mac OS X and have it on hand
(vendors will be available selling full retail
copies)
- meet all eligibility and compatibility
requirements before showing up
- read and sign these
forms (24K PDF).
For more information, please read the forms in full, and
the invitation (below). There will be no negotiations,
compromises, discussions, or second thoughts: you must read
and comply with everything mentioned in the consent form,
and fully understand what Washington Apple Pi is offering
(and what it isn't offering). This is a one-time event;
there is no rain date.

J.D. Mankovsky, a senior engineer with Apple, offers a
special QuickTime invitation to the Pi General Meeting on
his birthday (March 24) to see Mac OS X make its commercial
debut. J.D. promised to be on hand and, since it is
his birthday (the big 3-0), it wouldn't hurt if a large
crowd was on hand to wish him well. (And to play with Mac OS
X.) (Video by Tom Witte)
