With the explosive growth of computer-based devices and the "Internet of Things," the need for good, creative programmers has never been greater, and the supply has never seemed more inadequate. Potomac Code Camp seeks to change that by instilling a passion for the art of writing computer code at an early age.
By analyzing the logic behind the popular game "Light Bikes", the audience will learn the importance of control statements, operators, variables, and other concepts of computer programming. With this hands-on approach, they will see the benefits of teaching their kids such concepts in the Information Age where computers and computer programs are ingrained in our everyday lives.
