All about Zoom. On the whole, the Zoom app has been a godsend for remote meetings. Yet as the app and website have innovated, our use of the app has yielded so many questions. We love it when one of these questions comes up at a Pi meeting that Mike Emery attends, because we send all of them to Mike Emery!
Mike transferred into IT as a computer specialist in the early 1980s as a generalist, managing systems and networks, more as a systems engineer. He managed Wang IOS and VS, Banyan Vines, Novell Netware, and Microsoft Domain.
When agencies began contracting out all IT services, Mike transferred into Intelligence where he managed unclassified and classified systems and acted as an intermediary between IT and Intelligence directorates.
After retiring from federal service, he now manages IT and AV services in classrooms and offices at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Fairfax, VA.
At the meeting, log into our Pi attend, https://wap.org/attend to be eligible for our Pi Door Prize later in the meeting.
