Washington, DC, was until recently the home of a major league football team. The team's late owner complained that the city's stadium lacked "modern amenities," and was falling into disrepair. As these two photos show, there is some merit to this argument, but in all honesty, what can be expected? It isn't as if stadiums were built to last a couple millenia.
